knowing the morbidity of newsroom humor like I do (hey, it's a coping mechanism) and knowing that there were some Onion-esque headlines floating around (even if they went un-uttered), I just want to be the first to say:
YOU ALL NEED TO FIND JESUS.
(Okay, maybe RAW said it first, but it needed to be said.)
so, just for the record, that wasn't in s'boro, it was out in brooklet.
i happened to come by shortly after the accident, and it looked really bad. the truck was folded in half and pretty badly burned. sorry, it kind of takes the humor out of the story when you saw it and when you know people who were close to those in the wreck.
A professional journalist for the past five years (as opposed to those volunteer journalists), I'm now going back to school to pursue my dream of becoming an intramural champion, and to get a Master's Degree.
